On 16 September 1987 this aircraft was on an NVG flight when it struck a set of High-Power Lines. The aircraft then impacted the ground in a nose high attitude were the tail boom separated from the aircraft. The aircraft then bounced back into the air, spun several times and came to rest about 300 feet from its impact point where it burned in a post-crash fire.
