In January 1991 the aircraft was sent to Sikorsky’s Facility in West Palm Beach, Florida to join the 16 pilots and 32 maintenance crew who received training there. In June 1991 the Aircraft arrived in Taiwan and assigned to the Republic of China Navy (ROCN) and operated by the 701st Helicopter Squadron Light (HSL) at Hualien.
