In 1990 the Aircraft was accepted into the Air Force Inventory and assigned to the 304th Air Rescue Squadron (304th ARS) at Portland Air National Guard Base (ANGB), Oregon. In February 1992 the Unit was redesignated as the 304th Rescue Squadron (304th RQS). In 2004 the Aircraft was located with the 55th Rescue Squadron (55th RQS) at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona. On 29 Sep 2009 the Apparently had a Mid-Air collision with a drone in Afghanistan. Got the Nickname “UAV Slayer”. Sustained some damage but repaired. |
