On 26 January 1992 the Aircraft was delivered to Serv-Air in Kentucky for reconfiguration as the Proof of Principle Aircraft YUH-60A(Q). The Aircraft was equipped with an enhanced medical interior, enhanced avionics and visual displays, and an externally mounted rescue hoist. On 31 January 1993 the Aircraft made its first flight and on 12 March 1993 it was delivered to the Combat Enhancing Capable Aviation Team (CECAT) Tennessee Army National Guard for a 12-month evaluation. According to the aircraft historical records the complete conversion process to a UH-60Q was completed 30 October 1998. |

On 28 February 2019 the Aircraft was on a ferry flight from Enterprise, Alabama to Tullahoma, Tennessee. The weather had decreased to a point where continuing was not an option, and the crew attempted to turn around when they struck trees.
