On 10 March 2007 this Aircraft crashed at Skelly Stagefield near Opp while attempting a Roll-On landing. The Aircraft hit the runway hard and was not properly aligned with the Runway. As a result, the Main Rotor Blades flexed down and severed the Tail Rotor Driveshaft, the right main landing gear broke from the aircraft because of the sideward alignment and the main rotor blades stuck the runway. The aircraft was destroyed and the Instructor Pilot received fatal injuries, while the 3 other occupancies received minor injuries.
