Aircraft was accepted by the Army and assigned to U.S. Army Aviation Engineering Flight Activity (USAAEFA). The aircraft was Air lifted to Edwards AFB, California and began the engineering flight test portion of the Government Competitive Test (GCT) program. The test period began 7 April and lasted until 17 September 1976. Reference: Government competitive test, Utility Tactical Transport Aircraft System (UTTAS), Sikorsky YUH-60A Helicopter Final Report. In October of 1976 the aircraft was transferred to U.S. Army Transportation School (USATSCH) in Fort Eustis, Virginia and used as a maintenance training aircraft. |
